The Write Miz Barnz is my little effort. I'm Esmeralda Williams-Barnes and I have a big story I often wish I didn't have. Who wants a rare pancreatic disorder, while being forced to face systemic racism at the very medical system that is supposed to help you? I often say "I am the science of sexual violence." Never did I want to discover it was a half-truth. Face enough violence, corruption and you can drop the "sexual." Here, I will write the stories that, north and south of the Mason-Dixon line, many will wish I didn't. Corruption and injustice have no right to my silence. Every story has its time. The time for mine is now.
